| Lake County Schools is the 19th largest school district in the state of Florida. We are located less than an hour away from Orlando. The Transportation Department is one of the most important departments in Lake County schools. The employees in the Transportation department makes sure that our District's youngest members get transported to and from school safely. Approximately 18,000 students are transported on 248 buses daily.
