| The Thornton W. Burgess Middle School will provide programs for students that are based on their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs. Our mission is to provide a life long love of learning and to instill a core of common knowledge with emphasis on basic skills, thinking skills, ethical behavior, and good citizenship. Education at our school will reflect high levels of learning, taking into consideration various needs and abilities. We will provide a safe, caring environment with students, teachers, and parents as active members of the school community. |
