| Our Focus Statement Union Hill School fosters a curriculum that focuses on Reading Comprehension. Our school wide focus is to have all Union Hill School students show measurable growth in their ability to comprehend and understand concepts through varied subjects such as, Everyday Math, Houghton Mifflin Reading Series, ELA, Science and Social Studies. We will measure our students’ growth through an on-going teacher assessment, MAP, DIBELS, DRA, MELA-O, and MEPA, Annual assessment of MCAS will also be used to drive further instruction. In addition to our academic focus Union Hill has implemented the district wide Worcester Public School Behavior modality, P.B.I.S. View School Improvement Plan for more details about our school. |
