| Our Instructional Focus Statement The school wide focus in all core subject areas is to have all Chandler Elementary students show growth in their ability to read and comprehend what they have read. This will be accomplished through the implementation of a school wide set of teaching strategies in phonics/decoding, fluency and comprehension strategies (such as making connections, predicting, etc.), in a school that values families as partners and has high expectations for students to work hard and get smart. |
